Children of Otherlands Exhibition
October 10 @ 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Children of Otherlands is a one-day exhibition and dinner debuting at the Newark Arts Festival. The event celebrates the diverse cultural communities shaping Newark, exploring how intentional craftsmanship and design transform a physical space into a home. Join us for a day & night full of music, food, craftsmanship, & design.
The programming is divided into two distinct experiences:
- Artisan Market & Workshop (12pm – 3:45pm): Features a curated collection of artisan household goods from local and visiting multicultural artists, interactive workshops led by teaching artists, and a vibrant artisan market.
- Family Style Dinner (6:30pm-9:00pm): A private reflective dinner with musical activations & hand crafted artworks designed to mirror and celebrate the community’s cultural landscape.
