COOKBOOK LOOKBOOK CALENDAR + ZINE RELEASE

Pull up a seat at the table! CookBook LookBook Calendar + Zine Release will feature a table set with various pages of a zine-laced calendar open at each seat. Visitors can wander around to view the project, and calendars will be available for sale.
A selection of original artworks will be displayed in the space. The atmosphere will be enriched with aromatic herbs, along with freshly brewed tea and coffee, activating the sense of smell. Live readings from the zines will engage the sense of sound, providing an opportunity to connect with art and storytelling beyond sight. The organizers hope to record some of their writing being spoken and heard aloud in this public setting.
The project has been designed as a feast for the eyes and nourishment for the soul. Each month highlights an artist and a story that transports attendees to a time and place of comfort. Guests are encouraged to pull out the inserted recipe cards, cut where indicated, and add them to their menu throughout the year. The paper bag provided allows participants to hold the cards. Once the year is over, the calendar can be added to a cookbook collection. Enjoy!
