The Culture Parlor is a multi-day activation including live performances, panel discussions and a close out brunch hosted by Ayana Morris in celebration of the unveiling of Don’t Touch My Hair. Don’t Touch My Hair is a mobile immersive experience located in Harriet Tubman Square celebrating the evolution of black hair. It gives you an intimate look into the mind of a black woman and her connection with her hair.
After you take your tour through the Don’t Touch My Hair experience join us for Day 2 at The Culture Parlor and enjoy live music, panel discussions, refreshments and more. We encourage all attendees to dress to impress and be creative with your hair.
