Join us for an exciting tour of Newark Grounds, a walkable cultural corridor presenting over 75 consecutive public artworks and dedicated arts and culture spaces in Downtown Newark, New Jersey. This initiative is the result of a collaborative effort led by Project for Empty Space, alongside the City of Newark Division of Art and Cultural Affairs, the City of Newark Arts and Education District, the City Parks Foundation, Greater Newark Convention and Visitors Bureau, Newark Arts, the Four Corners Public Arts Partnership, and the Rutgers University-Newark Design Consortium. The project aims to establish an arts path that connects Newark Pennsylvania Station to Teachers Village and will officially launch during the Newark Arts Festival.
Newark’s very own Have You Met Newark will offer three free public art tours during the Newark Arts Festival presented by the Greater Newark Convention and Visitors Bureau (GNCVB):
