Join Newark Board of Education's Office of Visual and Performing Arts for "Bridging Borders: Embracing Cross-Cultural Perspectives," an art exhibition showcasing the creativity of high school students from Newark Board of Education's Culture Creators: High School Visual Arts Academy summer enrichment program. This exhibition is a part of the Newark Arts Festival and will be hosted at The Newark Museum of Art. 

The artworks on display were created during a rigorous five-week enrichment program guided by Newark Public Schools' esteemed art educators, Dr. Comfort Ndukwe and Hakim Smith. Student artists engaged in hands-on instruction and captivating field trips, including visits to the Newark Museum of Art, NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the enchanting NYC Broadway production of Aladdin. The culminating results on display emphasize the importance of embracing diverse cultural perspectives to promote empathy, tolerance, and unity in our interconnected world.
