The all female curatorial team celebrates its 8th annual art exhibition during the Newark Arts Festival, showcasing multi-generational visual artists, live performances and communal art activations. This exhibition explores themes of thriving culture, rooted in traditions and making a way in this world and what it means to create a space for “work to live on”. Hip hop has served as a major source of inspiration and influence for the last 50 years, creating dynamic music and art that is unique and timeless. This exhibition is savory, rich in its simplicity and thought provoking at every turn
