The Pink Ball: A Stunning Kickoff to Newark Arts Festival 2024

The Pink Ball was an unforgettable opening night celebration that set the tone for the Newark Arts Festival 2024. Held at the Newark Museum of Art, the venue was transformed with vibrant projection mapping in Newark Arts’ signature pink, creating a truly immersive experience. 

Guests enjoyed an opening performance by Samba Novo NYC, live DJ performances by BUNKR. & 400PROOF, art from over 100 selected artists, and a festive atmosphere that embodied the festival’s theme of Radical Reimagining. Entertainment for the evening also included performances by J Read & Charisa The Violin Diva, Cecilia Mitchell, Victoria L. Duncker, and Young Benny. The event was a perfect introduction to the creativity and energy that defined the rest of the festival, bringing together artists, community members, and visitors for an inspiring start to the week.
