For the past two years, artist and philosopher, Red, has conducted phenomenological inquiry into the condition and restoration of the African psyche, family, and community. Some components of this research emphasize the lived experiences of women as manifestations of god; while others question the plights and triumphs of men, children, and groups. The findings have been translated into artworks and are presented here for the public's consumption, healing, and feedback. If nothing else, the research pushes the literature and culture to conduct further studies and ask more questions.
