The ROCC is sponsoring its third annual ROCC FEST concert, An Evening of Arts which will be presented in person and virtual on Saturday, October 10, 2021 at 6 pm at Roseville Church 36 Roseville Ave., Newark NJ 07107.  The event will feature the jazz group, Endea Owens and the Cookout, with a private a youth musicians’ workshop, and  “spoken word” youth performances, all hosted by guest emcee, Gemineye. Tickets [$25] may be purchased online through Eventbrite.   Endea Owens, a recent graduate of the Julliard School, is the featured bassist with Jon Batiste’s Stay Human and she is the House Bassist for the CBS late show with Stephen Colbert. Endea was Lincoln center’s emerging artist of 2019 .  Ms. Endea Owens has done music exchange programs in Cuba, and Trinidad and Tobago and has performed in London, India, Australia, Ukraine, South Korea and many other countries. This year Endea graced the cover of Japan’s “The Walker’s" Magazine, and she was featured in the Wallstreet Journal and Billboard Magazine.
