Forging Perspectives: The GlassRoots-Peters Valley Fellowship is an exhibition of works by the 10 artists who participated in our Fellowship program. The 12-week program included five-week intensive foundations at GlassRoots studio and seven weeks at Peters Valley, a renowned craft school located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area in Layton, NJ. The two cohorts, ranging in age from 18-25, all of whom are Newark residents, learned blacksmithing, wood working, printmaking, ceramics, and painting. Help us celebrate the Fellows' accomplishments by joining us for the exhibit opening on Thursday, October 7th, from 5-8 pm. To purchase tickets to the opening, visit www.glassroots.org. The exhibition will be on view October 8-10, from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
