Guest of all ages are invited to an authentic Hip Hop experience & celebration of expression with 5 yrs of NJPAC's young artist citizen's collaborative Graffiti Banners! Our trailblazing 5 years of Hip Hop Education at NJPAC will engage you with the “The 5th Element” Youth Graffiti Art Exhibition & Program featuring Graffiti, youth DJ's, Emcee's/Rappers/Spoke Word Artist & Beatboxers & Dancers!

All are welcomed to check out the versatile styles, symbols and tagz from the next generation! The exhibition includes a display of play, practice and process of defining one's identity through discovery, utilizing Hip Hop's "5th Element", KNOWLEDGE OF SELF to create!

Multi generational panel & performances:
Youth DJ Set 1-1:30
Youth Hip Hop Ambassadors Panel at 1:30-2
Emcee Cypher at 2-2:30
Dance Cypher at 2:30-3
Youth DJ Set at 3:00-4pm

The featured works are collaborative pieces made by youth participating in NJPAC's Hip Hop Intensive program over the past 5 yrs. Teaching artist who guided the young artist way include D. Cross, Baja Ukweli, Xplore Freedom, Tina Ndgo Hill, Mani Martinez, Genesis Tramaine, Kween Moore and Newark's Graffiti icon; Jerry Gant!
