Elation – Newark Arts @ Nico Exhibition – Gallery Hours

Newark Arts @ NICO proudly presents Elation, a curated group exhibition marking the 24th anniversary of the Newark Arts Festival. Grounded in this year’s festival theme of JOY, Elation explores the affective, restorative, and transformative dimensions of art as articulated through the practices of some of the region’s most compelling visual artists.

Situated in the cultural core of Newark, the exhibition traces joy in its many registers—from intimate gestures of reflection to works rich with narrative, texture, and intensity. We invite you to experience Elation at NICO, a diverse presentation of visual storytelling that affirms joy as both a creative and vital force in shaping how we live, imagine, and thrive together.
