Newark City Parks Foundation and AfroTaco present AfroVibrations: Art, Culture + Connection, a mind, body, and spirit experience of African tastes, sounds, movements, art, and healing energies. From traditions to innovations, AfroVibrations celebrates the creative expressions that are rooted in Mama Africa's wisdom and human history. Through the arts of spoken word, music, dance, cuisine, fashion, visual art, and interactive activations, AfroVibrations brings together community for Newark Arts Festival in Harriet Tubman Square Park on Friday, October 7, 6-10pm.
All are welcome to join in the healing power of people gathering with African Dance classes, interactive art, live printing with Newark Print Shop, artisan vendors, and food by co-host AfroTaco.
