My Brother's Keeper - Newark (MBKN), an initiative of the Newark Opportunity Youth Network (NOYN), is releasing the premier issue of the MBKN Magazine designed to highlight the impact and contributions of men of color throughout the city of Newark and state of New Jersey. At NOYN, we see men of color as assets in solving our communities challenges and not as the problem to be solved. This magazine highlights men of color and the impact they are having in the area of public safety through community violence intervention work, the arts, policy, advocacy, and parenting. We hope you will join us in celebrating our black and brown men and uplifting narratives of their excellence.
